Wokay…7 years of Blogging : Rambling Reflections

It ​all started on 23rd Dec 2009. You might ask “Why did you start Blogging” Well, I have a simple answer for it – I am normal person who likes to read simple blogs (without HR Jargons) hence I started writing blogs, so that I could understand it while reading it. Period 🙂

Things that I learnt while blogging (Here we go, time for some gyan!!!)

a) “Always write for yourself and don’t ever, ever, ever try to please the audience”

b) Stick to basics

c) “Your Blog Title must be one of its kind 🙂

Here are my top 5 favorite Blogs so far. As they say, the best is yet to come:

d) Wokay….. last but not the least, in fact the most important thing I learnt – Just have fun and be your real self 🙂

As mentioned in the 2nd point, here are the numbers. But no numbers can beat this feeling when people ask you “Are you that Rambling Recruiter Guy” Just amazing feeling. That is the most satisfying ROI ever. So now you know, when you ask me about my ROI of blogging, this is exactly what you will get to hear 🙂

No Jargon : That’s a promise!!

The results are out!!! It’s time to uncover some interesting insights around the world famous keyword aka “Jargon”. I am sure we have all used it in some or the form, forums, events, workplace, outside workplace and so on 🙂 This is a small attempt to capture the pulse and thoughts of folks who are exposed to the world of Jargons. They could be folks who have used it or were at receiving end of a Jargon.

#SHRMTECH16 in just 140 Characters!!!

Just 140 characters!! You must be wondering that how on earth is it possible to know all about the biggest confluence of people, business, and technology like no other in Asia. Well, its not that difficult to do that, thanks to the Twitter. 

The best part of #SHRMTECH16 hashtag was that it was the best place to connect, learn and engage with the HR community. The discussions included Digital HR, HR Innovation in the Age of Technology, The ROI of HR Technology, Harnessing a Digital Mindset, Life & Work with Robots, Creating and Managing a Digital Workforce, Disruptions for HR Tech in 2016 and so on. 

Although there were 600+ folks who had attended #SHRMTECH16, the discussions were not just restricted within the 4 walls of the conference room. The discussions went viral all over Social Media Platforms. Twitter being the most happening place of all and guess what #SHRMTECH16 was trending on Twitter within 60 mins of the event being opened.
