Has Networking sites added value to the Recruitment Process?

It’s a tricky question……. hmmmmmmmm

To find out the answer to this question, some research was required. Hence i managed to rope in 90 recruiters to answers certain questions regarding their experience about this.

Survey was done via (You can check the 10 questions)

You can also check previous 3 question and their Analysis in the previous blog posts –

“ Social networks, particularly professionally oriented ones like LinkedIn, can be helpful for making business connections and recruiting prospective employees. According to a Deloitte study, 23 percent of companies already use social networking as an aid in hiring”

Following is the data for the 4th Question……. it might be of your interest 😉

This is quiet an interesting data, wherein it can be seen that there are 11.4% who see that Networking sites are not adding value to the Recruitment Process, also 26.1% respondents are still not sure about it.

But 63% respondents (which is a good number) agree with the above statement.

Respondents Details:

All the 90 respondents are recruiters, who are responsible for Hiring in their respective organizations. Hence in order to get authentic data, Recruiters were the right audience.

Looking  forward to your views on this data. You can agree or disagree :)
